Jesses James dies after being shot in back by traitor and coward
Jesse James was a very wanted
man when he asked the Ford brothers, Charley and Robert to move in with
him for protection. Bob Ford, however, had already struck a deal with
the Missouri governor to bring him in dead or alive with the emphasis on
the former. After breakfast, Ford shot the unarmed James in the back.
Ford was sentenced to hang for the killing but was released. Ten years
later, he himself was shot dead, and coincidentally, his killer was also
released.
